1. General
These General Terms and Conditions apply to all offers and quotations made by Snowsports Instructor and the agreements concluded with Snowsports Instructor. Persons taking part in the various training courses or activities of the Snowsports Instructor are referred to below as ‘Participants’. In addition to these General Terms and Conditions, the General Terms and Conditions of cooperating partner organisations will also apply.
2. Agreement
Acceptance of the agreement and applications are irrevocable. Snowsports Instructor reserves the right to refuse registrations if there are reasonable grounds for doing so. Verbal agreements or promises will be binding only after written confirmation by Snowsports Instructor. The General Terms and Conditions also apply to amendments made to the agreement.
3. Prices and Payment
If, after the conclusion of the agreement, cost price determining factors, including taxes, excise duties, wages, the prices of goods and/or services change, Snowsports Instructor will be entitled to pass these prices on to the Participant. Prices stated in promotional materials such as on the website, leaflets, flyers or posters are not binding. No rights may be derived from them. Each participant must pay an amount of €200 within 14 days of registering for a course or activity. For the programmes that take place partly in the United Kingdom and partly in Austria, the amount of €800 must be paid at least 28 days before the start of the UK part. The remaining amount must be paid at least 28 days before the start of the Austrian part.
In the case of other courses, each participant must pay an amount of €200 within 14 days of registering for a course or activity. The remaining amount must be paid to the Snowsports Instructor at least 28 days prior to commencement of the training course.
Snowsports Instructor will be entitled to suspend all its obligations as long as the Participant has not fulfilled his payment obligation. Failure to pay the deposit or the remaining amount on time may result in cancellation without any refund of the monies already paid or the outstanding amount.
4. Personal details
Participant is responsible for the correctness, completeness and reliability of the data provided by and on behalf of him/her. If the Snowsports Instructor does not know all the requested personal details in good time, Snowsports Instructor will be entitled not to carry out the assignment. The Participant is responsible for the necessary travel documents such as a valid passport. Participants of foreign nationality must independently arrange applicable travel documents. If the Participant is unable to make the trip in whole or in part due to a lack of required travel documents, all ensuing costs will be borne by the Participant.
5. Amendments
Up to 28 days before the start date Participant may request changes to the training or activity, if possible these changes will be made. For changes within 28 days prior to the start date, an amount of €20,- per change will be charged, in addition to the possible costs resulting from changing the programme.
6. Cancellation
Snowsports Instructor reserves the right to cancel that part of the course in the United Kingdom in the event of insufficient enrolment. The Participant who has already paid an amount at that time will receive a full refund of that amount.
If the Participant decides to terminate the course or activity during the course, the Participant will not be entitled to reimbursement of the costs by the Snowsports Instructor and/or its partner organisation. If the Participant cancels up to 28 days prior to the start date, the Participant will be entitled to a refund of the programme costs minus €200 cancellation costs. If the Participant cancels within 28 days prior to departure, the Participant will be entitled to a refund of the programme costs minus 50% cancellation costs. If Participant cancels within 14 days before departure Participant is not entitled to a refund. No refund is possible on additional transport booked.
7. Liability
Snowsports Instructor makes agreements as an intermediary for training courses, accommodation, employment contracts and transport. The performance of each part is at the expense and risk of the provider of training courses, accommodation, employment contracts and transport. In the event of inaccuracies or problems, Snowsports Instructor will do everything in its power to mediate between the Participant and the provider of training courses, accommodation, employment contracts and transport. No guarantees will be given as to the achievement of any result. Snowsports Instructor will never be liable for consequential damage, property damage, immaterial and material damage and other indirect damage caused by any cause whatsoever. Participants are advised to take out comprehensive travel insurance and undertake to do so before the start of the course.
8. Behaviour Participant
Snowsports Instructor informs Participant about rules, standards and guidelines that apply to participation in a training course or activity. If the Participant does not comply with these rules, standards and guidelines, the Snowsports Instructor and/or its partner organisations are authorised to terminate the Participant’s participation. In that case, the Participant will not be entitled to a refund of costs incurred or payments made.
