Anwärter Dual Instructor Course December 2021

The 15-day training course for dual instructors is held in the Fieberbrunn ski area. The advantage of a December training is that after you have finished your Anwärter diploma, you can start directly with your favourite ski school!

During this training you will be accompanied by a Dutch-speaking supervisor and certified ski instructor. The instructor knows the course and gives additional theoretical support in the evenings. He will help you with all didactic basics of teaching and methodical steps you need to know to give a good ski course. One day before the practical exams, all the important points of attention are discussed, so that you can get an optimal start. In addition, the coaching staff is also present to explain the training programme and to make sure you know where to go. Our guidance is always ready to answer your questions!

This training includes

• Course fee and textbook
• 15 nights hotel with half board (breakfast and dinner)
• 15 day ski pass
• Dutch supervision (not 100% of the time, our supervisor will visit regularly)

• Ski training in Austria of 4 hours (one day)

Day schedule

In the morning you have practical training on the slopes, here you improve your own skills and learn to teach ski or snowboard.

In the afternoon there are theory lessons with didactics, methodology, exercise science, material science, teaching children and first aid.
In the evening, the English speaking staff is present to help you with theory, practice and your ‘lehrauftritt’ (teaching).

German language course for ski instructors

The Anwärter course is an official Austrian vocational training and is conducted in German. Introducing yourself and some small talk is the basis of what you should be able to do. If you are not good at this yet, we recommend you to take the online German course and then order the special ski instructor course.
